Davis Shores 

Davis Shores is located on both sides of Anastasia Blvd, directly east across the Bridge of Lions from downtown historic St. Augustine. It is within 5 to 10 minutes of the Lighthouse, Alligator Farm, downtown historic St Augustine, Amphitheater, Anastasia State Park and the other wonderful beaches in the area. Each Saturday there is farmer's market at the amphitheatre.

The community was founded by D.P. Davis in 1925 to develop the area for housing, a casino, yacht club, roman pool and golf course. The land bust in 1925 ended his dream. The large lots, wide boulevards, winding streets and cul-de-sacs make the neighborhood unique. Most of the homes started out as small 2 or 3 bedroom concrete block homes, built after the post world war II boom. Many of these homes today have been remodeled and added onto. A few lots that were still vacant have also sold in the
last few years and newer homes built on them. There are no deed restrictions or CDD fees here. You are also part of the City of St Augustine. Located right at the base of the Bridge, when there are festivities going on downtown, it is quite convenient to join in.

Surrounded on three sides by water, it is a peaceful neighborhood where residents are able to enjoy nature. The community is very friendly and a lot of the people, who live here, walk or bike in the neighborhood. There are neighborhood parks in the community, nearby restaurants and a local market. There is also a small park along the water at Salt Run, where many people fish, kayak or windsurf.
